Oxygen Permeable Lens Knowledge Base
Has anyone who wears gas permeable contact lenses ever got neo-vascularization of the eyes? I stopped wearing my gas permeable lenses for almost a year to allow my eyes to heal after having been diagnosed with corneal neo-vascularization. They say that gas permeable contact lenses offer the most oxygen to the eye but I've noticed since I started wearing them once again that my eyes are very red only after a day of wearing them. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a remedy for this neo-vascularization(new blood vessel growth)?
