Right now, I have Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism and I really would like to get colored contacts. I know that the brand I am using now does not sell colored contacts but I wanted to know if there was another brand that sold colored contacts for astigmatism.

I am going to be going to the eye doctor and I wanted to know which contacts to ask for. I have an Astigmatism and I heard it was difficult to find good contacts for it. Anyone have an astigmatism and wears contacts? I would really appreciate the advice. Thanks!

I have astigmatism that seems to be getting worse. Are there contact lenses that are 1-day wear to correct this? My vision is -8, which is pretty bad, if that makes a difference in my option. I’ve been wearing the 1-days b/c I seem to have sensitive eyes and ended up with a very bad infection years ago when I was wearing the 2-week lenses. My eye doctor felt it best to use the 1-day lenses to keep things as clean as possible (I do end up wearing them for 2 days against his orders just to cut the cost a little).

I want to get colored contacts now.
before I schedule an appointment for fitting, .I wanted to know if there are any COLORED brands that fit my prescription, like (FRESHLOOK COLORBLENDS TORIC)

I want contact lenses badly, hahahahaha! But my parents don’t allow me to wear them because they think I might refuse to take them off at the right time and they think I’ll get lazy. I don’t think I would act like that. I can wear my eyeglasses instead if there’s a time I shouldn’t wear them!
So uhh, that’s all my sharing, lol. Can a person with astigmatism like me wear contacts? I would appreciate if you guys answer. Thanks!!

I have only had glasses for about the past four years. I usually only wear my glasses in classes where I have to read off the board, and just recently I started wearing them for reading books and music. Overall my vision is not that bad, about a 20-30 to a 20-40 and it’s a slight astigmatism that prompted getting glasses. I usually don’t wear my glasses in social situations and outside of class in general, but often I find myself squinting to read menus on restaurant walls and other such print. Should I be wearing my glasses all the time regardless of context, or is it okay to only wear them in situations when I really need them?

I ran out of contacts and someones trying to sell me some contacts but they are for astigmatism.
The one hes selling is
D= -3.00
cyl= -2.25
Axis= 100
my perscription is -3.00
do you think if i wear them it will be bad or i wont be able to see? I wont wear them for long. I just need a quick fix because my own contacts havent came in yet.

I definitely DO NOT want to purchase the toric lenses because the are so much more expensive and do not offer many colors / styles. My perscription is as follows
Left
BC: 8.7
SPH: -4.50
CYL: -0.75
AX: 90
RIGHT
BC: 8.7

Can anyone tell me from personal experiences where you or someone you know or heard of ordered GEO Circle Lenses (I’m getting mine from lenscircle.com) despite having astigmatism and it worked out for you / them?
and about the BC…my BC is 8.7 and the GEO ones I believe are sold at a standard 8.4
Also, if anyone knows, can you tell me how bad (in laymens terms of course) I do have astigmatism?

About two years ago, my eye doctor told me that I have astigmatism in one of my eyes. I didn’t think much of it and got glasses. This year, I got braces and I’m wishing I had gotten contact lenses. I’m a teenage girl and really don’t want to look "nerdy" and I hate wearing glasses so I think I should get contacts.
My mom told me that I could get contact lenses this year, but I have no idea where to start. I’d like to get color contacts to lighten up my almost black eyes and make them look a pretty color. I’ved looked at a few websites that sell color contacts, but they are not made for people with astigmatism. I’ve also read about "toric" lenses. What are they and can I wear them if I only have astigmatism in one eye? Can I wear normal lenses and would anything happen if I did? Are there any brands that you use that sell color contacts for people with astigmatism? Should I just get non-color contacts?

i have an astigmatism in my left eye. im supposed to wear glasses, but i dont like how they look on me. im 13. a year ago my eyes were blue, but after i started wearing makeup theyve turned green. and i rlly want my blue eyes back so i talked my parents into getting me prescription colored contacts for my birthday.
before my mom schedules an appointment at pearle vision, she needs to know what brand of contacts carries colors for astigmatism. help me?! thanks!

I’ve heard a little bit about freshlook radience, ciba, and durasoft. However I’m looking for an overall affordable contact lense. I have dark hazel eyes and would like a bright blue color. I’ve realized that its difficult to find what I’m am looking for due to my astigmatism. any suggestions?

I have astigmatism but I find contacts and glasses a frustrating money sink. My vision is about 20/160, but I never wear corrective lenses. I am looking forward to laser surgery, but as a college student I have less than 00 to work with. I understand surgery can be up to 00 in the USA, but I’ve heard of prices as low as 00 abroad. Does anyone have any cheap success stories?

I Just want to wear the color contacts to make my eyes more hazel. I dont mind wearing glasses…but I still want to wear contacts with them…is this possible? I know I can get special astigmatism contacts…but I just want the non-perscription ones!

I am going to buy some contacts online, I want a contact lense that can on occasion be worn overnight, but my options are limited because of my astigmatism. I have already tried purevision torics and acuvue oasis (the purevisions were better) but it has been a while since i have purchased contacts and was wondering if there is anything new out there or if anyone has tried some and have a preference or a recomendation, thank you.
I got the prescription from my eye doctor yesterday, it is the same numbers he would fill out if he were ordering contacts

I have astigmatism but my doctor prescribed regular contacts for me. I cant see very well with my contacts but I can see perfectly with my glasses.
will my vision always be bad regardless of prescription if I keep on wearing regular contacts instead of astigmatism contacts?

i want to switch to contacts but i dont like them because they get blurry all the time. i want contacts tha gives me superb and crisp vision what contacts would work for me? im thinking about gas permeable lenses the rigid ones.
i wore contacts before, (soft torics) but they give me blurry vision sometimes, i planning to try contacts again.

Is there anything that permanently fixes an Astigmatism? I know for sure glasses only help vision but don`t do it permanently. Not sure about lens and im considering getting the laser surgery but i want to know as much as i can before i do so.

I have the prescription info, but I usually wear clear contacts, I want a change in the color and I was wondering if anyone has ever purshased color contacts for astigmatism??? Any help would be nice thanks…
I think my prescription is too high for color contacts… BC 8.6, DIA 14.5, Power -4.50, CYL -1.25, and AXIS 180, and I want color contacts so bad… What if I order BC 8.7 and DIA 14.0 and power -4.50??? They dont ask for axis- would that work???

I need to know how bad my eyes are. I know that my contacts prescription is about -275. And its the same for both eyes. I don’t have any astigmatism that I know of. What I’m wondering is am I 20/60 20/70, or 20/100 or worse? I need to have uncorrected vision of 20/70 for a pilot slot in the air force. Knowing my prescription, any idea what I am?
